Detour provides one Australian dance artist a paid opportunity to connect with five leading Australian dance companies across a 12-month period, as part of an interconnected residency program, in a spirit of reciprocity.

By working together, we will provide 15-weeks of paid work for an artist to spend time with us, engage with our communities, with no explicit 'outcome' in mind; to free an artist to develop in the context of our unique environs.
