Jenni Large
Jenni Large is an independent performer, choreographer, teacher and rehearsal director. She has performed extensively across independent and company environments in regional, national and international settings. Jenni is grateful to live and dance on the unceded lands of our First Nations People across Australia, currently based on palawa Country in lutruwita/Tasmania where she is a Tasdance Creative Associate.
Notably, Jenni was a formative ensemble member and rehearsal director at Dancenorth (2015–2020) performing and touring a plethora of works at home and internationally by renowned choreographers.
Jenni recently collaborated and performed in ‘THAW’ by Legs on The Wall and regularly collaborates with Ashleigh Musk and GUTS Dance, Mparntwe/Alice Springs.
Her choreographic works include 'Flesh Net’ commissioned for WAAPA, ‘Faux Mo House Party’ - Mona Foma 2022, ‘All Expenses Paid' - STOMPIN/Mona Foma 2021 and ‘Trio for Harp, Harpist & Dancer’ with Emily Sanzaro - Tasdance/Ten Days On the Island. Jenni is thrilled to have received the 2022 Keir Choreographic ‘People’s Choice Award’ for her new work ‘Wet Hard’.
