Mara Gallagher

Mara is a trans dancer and performance artist based in Naarm (Melbourne). She is classically trained and later pursued contemporary dance studies at Ev and Bow and Transit Dance prior to her medical and social transition. Mara is currently invested in decay and poetry in posture. Her practice is centred in who she is and who she is becoming. Mara has recently performed in Gabriella Imrichova’s live performance score Methods for Collapse (m4c). She also recently performed with CoExist Collective in the work, In [The] Making.
