Frankie Snowdon

Frankie is the founder and Co-Director of GUTS Dance Central Australia, based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. Born and raised in her desert home, her work as a dance artist spans performance, choreography, teaching, community based projects, program creation and facilitation, and sector advocacy. Frankie has worked extensively as a performer, choreographer, collaborator and producer throughout Australia and abroad, for both big companies and on myriad Independent projects and platforms that champion experimental and diverse artistic expression. Since 2018 GUTS have created and produced multiple works with award winning teams of artists that have been presented across Australia and internationally, as well as being deeply committed to local dance programs for programs for incarcerated and marginalised young people. For this work GUTS were awarded an NT Human Rights award in 2021.
